A checkup is a full assessment of everything happening in your mouth, including issues that cause no pain and show no visible signs until they become far more involved to treat. We use digital imaging and a thorough hands-on exam to catch what is developing early, explain what we find in plain language, and give you a realistic plan for staying on top of it.
A cavity caught early is a quick fix. Left alone, that same cavity reaches the nerve and becomes a root canal. Gum disease caught early is manageable with a deep cleaning; left alone, it can mean bone loss and tooth loss. The difference between a minor issue and a major one is almost always timing, and a visit every six months keeps you on the right side of that gap.
Toothaches, broken or knocked-out teeth, swelling, and lost fillings all need prompt attention. We do our best to fit urgent visits into the schedule and, with the combined experience of our team, are equipped to treat the great majority of urgent problems right here rather than sending you elsewhere while you are in pain.
From a child's first visit to a grandparent's cleaning, we look after whole families in one place, and we are known for putting anxious patients at ease. Calming options like laughing gas are available, including for emergency visits.
