Tooth Replacement

Implants

A dental implant is the only tooth replacement that works from the root up. A titanium post placed into the jawbone acts as an artificial root, and once it integrates with the bone, a custom crown attaches on top to replace the visible tooth.

The only restoration that works from the root up

Every case is planned in full using CBCT imaging before treatment begins. For patients replacing multiple teeth or a full arch, implant-supported dentures anchor a complete restoration to implants rather than relying on suction or adhesive.

It functions exactly like a natural tooth

An implant is the only restoration that stands on its own, rooted in the bone, with no dependency on neighbouring teeth and no movement. You chew on it, brush it, and forget it is there. It also protects the bone underneath: when a tooth is lost, the jawbone in that area deteriorates without a root to support it, and an implant is the only restoration that stimulates the bone the way a natural root does, preventing the bone loss and facial changes that follow tooth loss over time.

It is the last restoration you will need

A well-placed implant can last for decades. Bridges may need replacement if cavities develop underneath, while dentures require ongoing relining and adjustments as the bone beneath them changes. An implant can help eliminate that cycle by functioning much like a natural tooth, without being susceptible to cavities.

Why planning matters as much as placement

Thorough planning is what separates a successful implant from a complicated one. Before every procedure, CBCT imaging maps bone density and available volume, nerve location, sinus anatomy for upper jaw cases, and the precise angle, position, and depth for safe, stable placement. When enough bone is not available, we perform bone grafting in-house rather than referring you elsewhere, and when a tooth needs to come out first, we walk you through the right sequencing, whether that means placing the implant after full healing or grafting the socket at the time of extraction, before anything begins.
