Tooth Restoration

Crowns & Bridges

When a tooth is too damaged for a filling, a crown protects what is left of it. When a tooth is already gone, a bridge fills the space using the teeth on either side for support.

A crown protects what is left

A crown covers the whole tooth, holding it together and taking the pressure of chewing off a structure that can no longer handle it on its own. Crowns are routine after root canal treatment, on teeth with large old fillings, and on teeth that have cracked, where a filling would simply flex the crack open again.

A bridge fills the gap

A bridge replaces a missing tooth with a fixed restoration anchored to the healthy teeth on either side. It stays in place permanently, restores your bite, and stops the neighbouring teeth from drifting into the space, which is what causes bite problems years later.

Made to look like the tooth it replaces

Both crowns and bridges are made from natural-looking porcelain, matched to the shade and shape of the teeth around them. We take digital impressions for a precise fit, and most cases are finished in two visits with a temporary in between.
